Enjoy a flight of delicious premium Greek Wines at our Wine Tasting Bar, overlooking the San Francisco Bay throughout the weekend. Sample the following wines and then indulge in a glass of your liking which are also available for purchase. Yamas!

'M' MALAGOUZIA Island of Evvia (2013), 100% Malagouzia, Dry White Wine

Avantis Malagouzia is a soft lemon-green color with a pronounced nose consisting of intense citrus fruit (grapefruit- lime), white peach, pear, lemon blossom and hints of minerality. It has a fruity palate with sharp acidity and aromas of white fruit, citrus, rose, and minerals.

MANTINIA: MOSCHOFILERO Mantinia in the Peloponnese (2013), 100% Moschofilero, Dry White Wine

A brilliant white wine that is pale straw in color with a grayish tint. This Moschofilero has a citrus and floral sent to it. On the palate it is a dry white wine full of fruity and citrus flavors. It is very crisp and refreshing in flavor, and has a little bubbly note to it as well. It is a great wine to drink on its own, or with some nice light appetizers.

NAOUSSEA Naoussa (2007), 100% Xinomavro, Dry Red Wine

Foundis Naoussea is an intense red color. On the nose, there are aromas of red fruit, coffee, cocoa, wood and a hint of tomato and nature. On the palate, you find that this is a well-rounded wine with a rich tannic structure and a slight hint of wood due to the oak barrel aging. Goes nicely with some grilled meats, pork, or meats with tomato sauces.

HATZIDAKIS: SANTORINI Santorini (2012), 100% Assyrtiko, Dry White Wine

Hatzidakis' Santorini is a light yellow color with a soft golden shade, proving the good quality of the grape. The nose is pleasant, with strong fruity aromas. The mouth appears full, aromatic and the aftertaste has certain freshness to it. The wine also has a mineral flavor that can be associated with acidity, which is typical of most wines produced on the island.

PAPANTONIS AGIROGITIKO (St. George) Nemea (2010), 100% Agiorgitiko, Dry Red Wine

Papantonis Agirogitiko wine is clear and has the dark ruby color characteristic of a typical Agiorgitiko wine. It has a delightful nose with aromas of berries, jam and oak. On the palate it has a velvety soft taste with hints of berry and vanilla. There is a nice balance between the acidity and tannins, making it a very nice and smooth wine to drink. Lastly, it has a nice long finish. An ideal wine for long term maturing.

WHERE: On the beautiful grounds of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension, 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland hills, below Highway 13.

ADMISSION: Adults $5, Children 12 & under are free.

PARKING: Free parking at the Mormon Temple, Ability Now Bay Area (formerly Cerebral Palsy Center) and Head Royce School

RIDESHARE: Taking UBER or LYFT to-and-from the festival? Our easy drop-off and pick-up location is on Lincoln Avenue by the outdoor elevator next to the garage.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE to-and-from the parking locations and Disabled Parking available.

PREMIUM PARKING: $20 - Parking Pavilion
